The short version
Your clips stay on your computer until you choose to post them. We keep only what we need to make your license work, and we never see your TikTok passwords.
What stays on your computer
- Your clips and the folders you choose.
- Your schedule, settings and the list of connected accounts.
- Your Upload-Post key, stored encrypted by your operating system.
What our license server stores
To make sure each key works on one computer, our server stores your license key, a one-way fingerprint of your computer (not the hardware ID itself), your computer's name, the app version, and when the key was activated and last checked.
Posting to TikTok
When you press Start, the clips you selected are uploaded to Upload-Post, the approved integration Gumpload uses to publish to the TikTok accounts you connected. Upload-Post's and TikTok's own privacy policies apply to that content. You sign in to TikTok on TikTok's own page, so Gumpload never receives your password.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't show ads or put tracking scripts in the app.
- We don't upload anything you haven't scheduled.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling Gumpload and deleting its app folder removes everything stored on your computer. To have your license record removed from our server, email us.
